Description
A softly defined hexagonal crown, intricate hand engraving, and richly detailed metalwork give this handcrafted Antique Inspired mounting ring a distinctive heirloom character. The design combines a structured geometric center with flowing botanical ornamentation, creating a refined balance between symmetry and old-world romance.
At the center, the ring features an open mounting designed to accommodate a Round Cut center stone. The six-sided setting creates a graceful hexagonal outline around the center, with softly pointed corners that add definition while preserving an elegant and delicate appearance.
Fine milgrain detailing follows the perimeter of the central setting, adding a subtle beaded texture and emphasizing its geometric silhouette. Small claw-like accents around the border further enhance the antique-inspired character while framing the center mounting.
The shoulders are richly decorated with hand-engraved leaf, wheat, and scroll-inspired motifs. These ornamental details extend outward from the crown and gradually taper along the upper shank, adding movement and depth to the design. Milgrain edging further defines the engraved sections and enhances the finely finished appearance.
Viewed from the side, the elevated center mounting rests above an elegant openwork gallery with symmetrical floral and leaf-shaped motifs. This pierced construction adds visual lightness beneath the crown and allows the craftsmanship to remain visible from multiple angles. The ornate upper section transitions smoothly into a slender, polished lower shank for balanced and comfortable wear.
The center mounting may be prepared for a Round Cut natural or lab-grown diamond, or for a precious or semi-precious gemstone of suitable proportions. Sapphire, ruby, emerald, spinel, tourmaline, aquamarine, and other gemstones may each give the design a different personality.
Individually handmade by Shahin Jewelry artisans using traditional jewelry-making techniques, precise stone setting, hand engraving, fine milgrain work, detailed openwork, and meticulous high-end finishing, this mounting is an elegant foundation for an engagement ring, milestone anniversary ring, meaningful celebration, or future family heirloom.
It may be crafted in 14K or 18K white, yellow, or rose gold, as well as Platinum.
