Description
Delicate openwork, botanical ornamentation, and refined antique-inspired detailing give this handcrafted mounting ring an elegant heirloom character. The softly defined hexagonal crown creates a distinctive geometric frame, while the slender proportions and decorative shoulders keep the overall design graceful and balanced on the hand.
At the center, the ring features an open mounting designed to accommodate a Round Cut center stone. The elevated setting allows the chosen stone to become the focal point of the design while preserving the beautiful hexagonal outline surrounding it.
A fine milgrain border follows the edges of the central setting, emphasizing its softly angular silhouette and adding the delicate beaded texture associated with antique-inspired jewelry. The raised crown also reveals more of the detailed structure beneath the center when viewed from the side.
The shoulders are especially distinctive, featuring graceful pierced leaf and floral motifs that extend outward from the central setting. These open sections create an airy, lace-like appearance, while engraved details and additional milgrain enhance the contours of the ornamental metalwork. The decorative upper shank gradually transitions into a smooth, polished lower band for comfortable wear.
Viewed in profile, the center mounting rests above an intricate openwork gallery with symmetrical botanical details. The pierced construction gives the crown a lighter appearance while allowing the craftsmanship beneath the setting to remain visible from different angles.
The center mounting may be prepared for a Round Cut natural or lab-grown diamond, or for a precious or semi-precious gemstone of suitable proportions. Sapphire, ruby, emerald, spinel, tourmaline, aquamarine, and other gemstones can each give the design a different personality.
Individually handmade by Shahin Jewelry artisans using traditional jewelry-making techniques, precise stone setting, detailed openwork, fine milgrain, and meticulous high-end finishing, this mounting is a beautiful foundation for an engagement ring, anniversary ring, meaningful gift, or future family heirloom.
It may be crafted in 14K or 18K white, yellow, or rose gold, as well as Platinum.
