Description
A structured octagonal crown, intricate hand-finished ornamentation, and richly detailed metalwork give this handcrafted Antique Inspired mounting ring its distinctive heirloom character. The design balances crisp geometry with flowing botanical details, creating a refined setting that reveals beautiful craftsmanship from every angle.
At the center, the ring features an open mounting designed to accommodate a Round Cut center stone. The circular center is framed by a finely defined octagonal setting, creating an elegant contrast between the softly rounded stone shape and the eight-sided architectural outline.
Layered borders of delicate milgrain follow the octagonal frame, emphasizing its geometric silhouette and adding the fine beaded texture associated with antique-inspired jewelry. The raised center mounting also gives the crown added dimension while allowing the detailed structure beneath to remain visible from the side.
The shoulders and upper shank are enriched with elaborate hand-engraved leaf and scroll motifs. These botanical details flow outward from the crown and gradually taper toward the polished lower band. Engraved borders and fine milgrain further define the ornamental patterns and give the ring a beautifully finished appearance from both the top and side views.
Viewed in profile, the elevated center mounting reveals an elegant openwork gallery with symmetrical scroll and fan-like motifs. This pierced construction adds visual lightness beneath the substantial crown while showcasing the artistry and detail of the setting from multiple angles.
The center mounting may be prepared for a Round Cut natural or lab-grown diamond, or for a precious or semi-precious gemstone of suitable proportions. Sapphire, ruby, emerald, spinel, tourmaline, aquamarine, and other gemstones may each give the design a different personality while preserving its antique-inspired character.
Individually handmade by Shahin Jewelry artisans using traditional jewelry-making techniques, precise stone setting, hand engraving, fine milgrain work, detailed openwork, and meticulous high-end finishing, this mounting is an elegant foundation for an engagement ring, milestone anniversary ring, formal statement piece, or future family heirloom.
It may be crafted in 14K or 18K white, yellow, or rose gold, as well as Platinum.
