Description
Delicate openwork, crisp geometry, and finely detailed metalwork give this handcrafted Edwardian Inspired mounting ring the romantic elegance of antique jewelry. Its prominent six-sided crown is balanced by tapered filigree shoulders, creating a graceful setting designed to showcase a Round Cut center stone.
The center mounting is framed by a distinctive hexagonal head, where fine metal borders and hand-applied milgrain define the architectural outline. The open design keeps the setting visually light while allowing the selected center stone to remain the main focal point.
Small round diamonds add subtle brilliance along the upper shoulders and selected decorative sections, with an approximate total side diamond weight of 0.14 carats. Pierced geometric openings, sculpted scrolls, fan-like forms, and delicate floral motifs create an intricate transition from the raised crown to the slender shank.
Viewed from the side, an elaborate openwork filigree gallery reveals radiating details beneath the center mounting. The cathedral-style shoulders rise gracefully toward the crown before tapering into a smooth polished lower band for a balanced and comfortable fit.
This mounting can accommodate a Round Cut natural or lab-grown diamond, or a precious or semi-precious gemstone selected to suit your preference. It may also be prepared for a suitable customer-supplied center stone.
Individually handmade by Shahin Jewelry artisans using traditional jewelry-making techniques, precise diamond setting, filigree work, milgrain detailing, and meticulous finishing, this mounting is an elegant foundation for an engagement ring, anniversary ring, or future family heirloom.
